"We want to join EU, be friends to Russia and China"

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said in Jagodina that "Serbia's place is in the EU - but it must also nurture friendly relations with Russia and China."

"We want to go to the EU, but we must also protect our national and state interests," Dacic said during a New Year cocktail party hosted by Jagodina Mayor Dragan Markovic Palma. Markovic is the leader of United Serbia, a party in coalition with Dacic's Socialists (SPS).
