Stari Blay, better known as Blaywatch, has been a mainstay on the Belgrade "splav" scene for a long time and is one of the most enduring riverside clubs of its kind. This is the place to be if you want the most authentic Belgrade New Year's experience on the river. Of course, you have to take into consideration that Stari Blay is a place where Serbian folk/pop music dominates, so if you can't stomach that sound, you should probably avoid it.

But if you like upscale establishments with proper dress codes, live Serbian pop music interspersed with local house DJ teams while the live band takes breaks, this club should be on the top of your list. The cover charge includes drinks, but only standards like beer, wine and some liquors. Cocktails must be paid for individually.
