GSEE – ADEDY protest rally for govt’s social security reform
Hundreds of people, unions and organizations participated in the protest rally organized by the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) and the Greek Civil Servants’ Confederation (ADEDY) on Saturday.
The demonstrators gathered early in the morning at Omonia square and marched to the Greek Parliament. About 4,000 people were shouting slogans against the new bill on social security reforms the government proposes and Labour Minister Giorgos Katrougalos.
President of the Popular Unity, Panagiotis Lafazanis, Dimitris Stratoulis, Rachel Makri, and former president of Greek Parliament Zoi Konstantopoulo participated in the protest rally.
