A Bangladeshi man has been suffering from a rare and inherited skin disorder known as Epidermodysplasia Verruciformis for the past seven years causing tree-like ‘roots’ growing from his hands and feet.
Abul Bajandar, 25, from Khulna, dubbed as the tree-man because of wart-like lesions growing from his hands and feet, has been admitted to hospital.
Dr Samanta Lal Sen, chief coordinator of National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery of the DMCH, said the doctors will decide on his treatment after forming a medical board of experts.
The ricksaw-van puller was previously taken to the Gazi Medical College Hospital in Khulna, as Daily Mail reports.
