Russian drone footage shows Syrian city devastated by war (vid)

A footage has been released showing the destruction in the Syrian town of Homs which has been left devastated by years of war.

The video was filmed by Russia Works, a drone-filming company owned by the Russian state broadcaster, VGTRK.

Homs was the country’s third largest city with around 650,000 residents.

On its YouTube link, camera operator Alexander Pushin said the area was destroyed by “radical Islamists and foreign mercenaries”.
