Three killed in house collapse in Turkey's southeast
Three people were killed on early Feb. 14 when a two-story house collapsed in a village in the southeastern province of Siirt.
The building, which housed 10 people from the same family, collapsed on early Feb. 14 for an unknown reason in Siirt's Ekmekçiler village.
Zeki Güne?, Ayten Güne? and 10-year-old Nergiz Güne? died in the collapse, while Hayati Güne? and one other unidentified person inside the house were injured.
Ambulances and teams from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) were deployed to the scene after the collapse. The wounded were transferred to Siirt State Hospital.
The AFAD team was continuing to work at the scene.
