Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov Proceeds to Second Round in Acapulco

The highest ranking Bulgarian male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov proceeded to the second round of the tournament in Acapulco.

In a match from the first round, Dimitrov defeated Denis Kudla from the USA with 7:5, 6:1.

This was the second encounter between the opponents, with the Bulgarian having lost the first one.

Dimitrov did not start the match well, conceding a break in the opening game, but then recovered and held the initiative until the end.

In the second round, the Bulgarian will face Donald Young from the USA.

Dimitrov has good memories of Acapulco having won the 2014 edition of the tournament.
