One soldier killed in Diyarbak?r's Sur
One soldier was killed on Feb. 25 during clashes with outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants in the Sur district of the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r.
PKK militants opened fire on security forces with sharpshooters, killing one non-commissioned officer and wounding two other soldiers.
The Turkish General Staff said in a statement that the non-commissioned officer succumbed to serious injuries in hospital at 8:15 a.m.
