Die Welt: Violent incidents to break out at closed border in Idomeni

German newspaper Die Welt published an article on refugee crisis warning of violent incidents in Idomeni.

According to the article, the German Federal Police stresses at a confidential report that there will be violent incidents at closed borders in Greece.

Germany foresees violent clashes triggered by desperate refugees and immigrants in northern borders of Greece, if the border continues being closed.

As Die Welt highlights immigrants and refugees will try to pass the border so as to continue their journey to Europe and it is likely that there will be serious clashes. At the same time, it warns that after March, it is likely that Greece will face a new refugee flow, since the weather will get better.

On Friday, about 20 buses arrived at Idomeni so as to transfer the refugee and immigrants to the refugee centers created in the mainland, while a group of refugees protesting against the closed borders remained at the railway lines refusing to leave.
