Holy Fire arrives in St. Sava Temple

BELGRADE - The Holy Fire, the flame of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, arrived in Serbia, where it was handed over to Patriarch Irinej, who shared it with Orthodox Church priests and people gathered in front of the Temple of Saint Sava in Belgrade on Orthodox Easter on Sunday.
    
The ceremony of welcoming the Holy Fire, with the Serbian Army Guard lined up in front of the Temple of Saint Sava, was also attended by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.
    
A procession headed by Patriarch Irinej and President Nikolic then started walking around the Temple.
    
The ceremony was also attended by Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin, Serbian Justice Minister Nikola Selakovic and others.
