Wanted PKK militants killed in Turkey's southeast

Two militants from the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), who were on the Interior Ministry's list of "wanted terrorists" under blue and orange categories, were killed in the security operations in Lice district of Diyarbak?r.

Up to 1,500,000 Turkish Liras were offered for information leading to Ekrem Güney, who was killed on May 2 in an operation launched by the security forces after receiving intel from residents in the area.

Güney was sought for under the blue wanted category.

Talva reportedly traveled to the Syrian city of Kobane in 2014 in order to support the People's Protection Units (YPG).

Up to 600,000 Turkish Liras were offered for information leading to Talva.

The security forces carried out the operation against 10 or 12 PKK members with aerial support, which resulted in the deaths of the militants.
