Court makes final ruling - Radicals are not going to The Hague
BELGRADE - In a final ruling made on Thursday, the Higher Court in Belgrade decided that three officials of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) will not be extradited to the war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, after a three-member panel of its war crimes department upheld the first-instance ruling that the prerequisites for it had not been met.
Pursuant to Serbia's Law on Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), the ruling is final and enforceable, and no extraordinary legal remedies can be used to quash it and no one can request postponement of enforcement, the Higher Court said in a release.
