Bulgaria's Enemies Are Only Ideologies, President Says

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has made clear it is not people or states, but only ideologies and manipulations of Balkan history that the country has to see as adversaries.

"Bulgaria has to fight against false ideologies, against the forgery and manipulation of history that gives way to tensions and conflicts between future generations," he has told Focus Radio in an interview.

Plevneliev has praised Bulgaria's place as part of the positive developments of the Balkans in the past 20 years and its role as a motor of integration and democratic development in the region.
