Bulgaria Is Becoming All-Inclusive Destination
Bulgaria is moving strongly in the direction of becoming an all-inclusive destination, stated Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova to Darik radio.
Over 85% of the holiday-makers brought to the Black Sea coast by large tour operators on an all-inclusive holiday are satisfied with their stay and the ambition of the Tourism Ministry is to maintain the position of the country on the tourism market stable.
The Minister pointed out that the largest number of complaints is due specifically to the quality of the all-inclusive service but also noted that the inspections have not reported major violations.
Our forecast is for between 4.8 and 5 million tourists this summer season, which will set a record, added Angelkova.
In terms of the largest number of visitors, Sunny Beach ranks first, followed by Golden Sands and Albena.
This summer we noticed a return of French, Polish, Czech, Hungarian tourists. The interest of large markets for Bulgarian tourism like Romania, Israel, the UK and Germany remains unaltered. There has been an increase of 20-30% in the number of Russian tourists.
Angelkova also expressed hope that Bulgaria will become a year-round destination.
