Blinken: Relations with Serbia significant to US

BELGRADE - The relations with Serbia, the key country in the region, are very significant for the United States, US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at a meeting with PM Aleksandar Vucic in New York Friday.

Blinken commended all the reforms conducted by the Serbian government, noting a continuation of Serbia's European path was significant to accelerate the progress of the entire region, the Serbian government said in a statement.

Vucic and Blinken discussed Serbia-US bilateral relations, the situation in the region, Serbia's European path and the dialogue with Pristina.
