Bulgarian Police Detain 16 Migrants in Burgas Region

Police have arrested sixteen irregular migrants in the area of Burgas, on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast.

Their country of origin has not become immediately clear, police officials have told Focus News Agency.

The drivers of two vehicles used to transport the migrants have also been detained. Both are Bulgarian nationals.

Sunday's operation has been carried out jointly with border police.
