Minor Quake Near Macedonia's Border with Bulgaria

A minor earthquake has been registerеd in Macedonia, not far from the border with Bulgaria, local media report.

The 2.5-magnitude tremor hit at 8.58, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

Its epicenter 8 km north-west of Pehchevo and 105 km south of Bulgaria's capital Sofia.

There is no information about injuries or damaged property, BGNES wire service reports.
