Sixth Belgrade Security Forum begins

BELGRADE - The sixth Belgrade Security Forum, where politicians and experts from the region and Europe will discuss whether democracy will survive the crisis of the world order, began in Belgrade Wednesday.

The Forum, which is organized by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, the European Movement in Serbia and the Belgrade Center for Security Policy, will last until Friday and will attempt to address challenges that Europe, the region and Serbia are facing, such as the migrant crisis, Brexit, the EU enlargement and the new European security strategy.

The central event of the conference will be a dialogue on future Albanian-Serbian relations and the stability of southeastern Europe, with Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic and Albanian PM Edi Rama to answer questions from Columbia University professor Misha Glenny.
