Toronto Serbian Film Festival to honor Dragan Nikolic

TORONTO - The Toronto Serbian Film Festival, to be held November 3-13, will be dedicated to the late actor Dragan Nikolic, once the festival's guest with the movies Zona Zamfirova and Labyrinth, the Serbian Film Center website said.

Train Driver's Diary by Milos Radovic, nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, will open the festival.

On the Milky Way by Emir Kusturica, The Good Woman by Mirjana Karanovic, Burek by Vladimir Nikolic, Brothers on the Mother's Line by Rados Bajic, The Hero and the Punishment by Nebojsa Pajkic and Ilija Labal, Listen Serbs by Goran Vukcevic and the documentary The Magic of the Stage by Slobodan Ivetic will also be part of the program.

Nina Zivanovic, professor at Sorbonne University, will promote her book, titled Smooch, and give lectures, while Martin Candir will present photos of the Hilandar...
