Bulgaria PM Summons Ministers over Election Results
Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has summoned ministers in his cabinet to his home in Boyana, media reports suggest.
The development comes amid suggestions of a cabinet reshuffle in the aftermath of the presidential elections, which is expected to be a tight race for the candidate proposed by Borisov, Parliament Speaker Tsetska Tsacheva.
Borisov has already said the situation will be analyzed after the election.
The meeting will be dedicated to vote results, news website Dnevnik.bg quotes government sources as saying.
Ministers are to convene at 19:00 local time (EET) or 17:00 GMT, an hour before polls close.
Borisov has repeatedly said he will step down if Tsacheva loses the first round.
Polls conducted in the run-up to elections have suggested a narrow win for her, the socialist opposition-backed candidate, Rumen Radev, expected to come second.
