Dacic: Arms were not discussed
SUZDAL (Russia) - Arms were not discussed at the 15th session of the Serbian-Russian committee on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation in Suzdal as that is not in the scope of the committee's work, Russian media quoted Serbian FM Ivica Dacic as saying Thursday.
We want to have full cooperation and friendly relations with Russia, from the political sphere to the economy, science, culture and education, as well as defence, security and the defence industry, and we will also maintain such cooperation in the future, Dacic said.
Earlier in the day, Dacic reiterated Serbia would not be joining the anti-Russian economic embargo and that its economic ties with Russia must improve further accordingly.
Serbia is thankful to Russia for vetoing a UN SC resolution on Srebrenica and voting against Kosovo's UNESCO membership bid, Dacic also said.
