Djokovic defeated by Cilic in Paris
PARIS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, the current world number one in men's tennis, is out of the Paris Masters after losing to Marin Cilic 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) in the quarter-finals on Friday in what was his first-ever defeat to the Croatian after 14 wins.
This practically clears the way for Briton Andy Murray to take the top spot in the ATP world rankings next Monday, provided he reaches the final.
The prize money in Paris is 3,748,925 euros.
