US Ambassador: Serbia is moving in the right direction

BELGRADE - The US will continue to back Serbia's reforms aimed at improving the business climate and creating a more attractive environment for investors, said the participants of a conference organised by AmCham Serbia on Tuesday.

This support is very significant for all companies operating in Serbia and it will definitely help reduce unemployment and boost cash flow into the country, said Zoran Petrovic, president of the AmCham Board of Directors.

Serbia is moving in the right direction and it should continue the reforms it has launched and improve the business environment, as well as be more focused on entrepreneurship, said US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott.

Judicial and tax system reforms are needed as well, and laws that have been passed need to be implemented, he said.
