ETBA-Goldair consortium provisional winner of Thriaseio tender

Railway property company GAIAOSE on Thursday designated the consortium of ETBA BIPE, a Piraeus Bank subsidiary, with Goldair Cargo as the temporary contractor for the construction and operation of the 588,000-square meter freight center at Thriaseio, western Attica, the only one to submit a binding offer.

"A 14-year-long effort of our group appears to be coming to a successful conclusion," Goldair Group executive president Kallinikos Kallinikos told Kathimerini.

"We expect our investment to spark the further investment of the Greek logistics industry," he added.
