Vucic extends condolences following Berlin attack

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday sent a message of condolences to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the German government, the people of Germany and the families of those killed in Monday's Berlin attack.

Serbia will always be with Germany and the people of Germany in protecting the human and civilisational values we share, Vucic wrote.

"On behalf of the Government of Serbia and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to the families and friends of those killed and to you and your government, as well as my sincere wishes for a speedy recovery to those wounded," Vucic wrote in the message.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic have also extended condolences to Germany.
