Poul Thomsen: “If it is proven that our estimates were too pessimistic we will change them”

 

IMF’s Poul Thomsen stated at Handelsblatt regarding the Greek program that “if we have all the available data of 2016 in our hands and it is proven that our estimates were too pessimistic, we will change them”.
Analysts of the EU have criticized the IMF’s recent report on the Greek economy as too pessimistic. The Valdis Dombrovskis made the exactly this point in the same newspaper.
