Gojkovic calls elections for five local assemblies

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic on Monday called elections for the city assembly of Zajecar and the municipal assemblies of Vrbas, Odzaci, Kovin and Kosjeric for April 23.

The decision to call the local elections will take effect on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette, which will also mark the start of the time frames for electoral activities, the Serbian parliament said in a statement.
