Gojkovic: New PM to be elected after May 31

BELGRADE - Outgoing President Tomislav Nikolic's term expires on May 31, after which the president-elect will hold consultations with parties so that a new PM can be elected, Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic said late Sunday.

"Nikolic's term expires on May 31, and under the Constitution and the law - provided things stay that way - we will afterwards have consultations of the new head of state with parties, and the election of a PM," Gojkovic told Pink television.
