FIC: Digitisation can accelerate Serbia's development

BELGRADE - Improvement of Serbia's economic competitiveness will depend on the pace of digitisation of business operations and expansion of the telecommunications infrastructure, a panel of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC) and Serbian government officials was told Friday.

The time of paper, printers and fax machines is long gone, new FIC Vice President Ingeborg Ofsthus said, opening the first Dialogue for Change panel on digitisation and telecommunications.
