Lord Meghnad Desai | Athens | May 11

The Athens Concert Hall has invited Lord Meghnad Desai, emeritus professor of economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, to deliver a lecture titled "Hubris: Why Economists Failed to Predict the Crisis and How to Avoid the Next One." The lecture, which will take place on Thursday, May 11, starting at 7 p.m., will be chaired by Professor Kevin Featherstone, head of the LSE's European Institute. Admission is free of charge and distribution of priority coupons begins at 5.30 p.m.
