Two arrested on Crete in connection with ax murder

Police on Crete Wednesday detained two foreign nationals, a man and a woman, in connection with the death of a Romanian man believed to have been hit on the head with an ax. The body of the Romanian man, believed to be aged around 35, was found in a derelict building in the center of the city of Hania. 

He is believed to have been attacked following a dispute, according to police sources who did not reveal any further details about the reason for the argument.
