Number of Turkish investors to double by end-year

BELGRADE - Turkish companies are very interested in Serbia as it offers the best conditions for foreign investors in the region - currently we have 12 or 13 Turkish investors that have opened factories in Serbia and we expect the number to double by the end-year, Aleksandar Medjedovic of the Turkish-Serbian Business Council said Monday.

Speaking to Tanjug at the international conference Vienna Economic Talks - Belgrade Meeting, organised by the Vienna Economic Forum in collaboration with the Serbian Association of Economists, Medjedovic said radical changes had taken place five years ago and that Turkish companies had begun to take the possibilities offered by Serbia seriously.
