Serbia loses to Slovenia in EuroBasket final

Serbian men's national basketball team has been defeated by Slovenia in the final of the FIBA EuroBasket 2017 European championship.

Slovenia won 93-85 in the final played on Sunday evening in Istanbul, Turkey.

It was announced on Monday that the Serbian team, the silver medal winners, will be welcomed in Belgrade with ceremonies - including a water salute at the Nikola Tesla International, and a gathering in the evening in front of the Old Palace.

Serbia qualified to the final by beating Russia, while the Slovenian team was better than Spain, which went on to win bronze.
