Brnabic urges media to maintain constructive dialogue

BELGRADE - The media play a significant role in paving a quality way for every modern society only if they maintain constructive dialogue and report based on verified facts, Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said in an informal conversation with the directors and editors-in-chief of the members of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA).

Meeting on the fringes of the September 20-22 EANA annual conference in Belgrade late Thursday, Brnabic and the heads of European news agencies such as the AFP, TASS, Anadolu, DPA and Ansa exchanged views on current issues, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.
