Aris comes from behind to beat AEK in Basket League

Just three teams (Panathinaikos, Kolossos and Promitheas Patras) have made it two out of two in the Basket League this weekend, but the win of this round belongs to Aris that came from behind to beat AEK by two in Thessaloniki on Saturday.

AEK led by up to 10 points in the first half (34-24), but a great comeback by the hosts at the Nick Galis Hall saw them advance by five (62-57) and win the match 64-62 for their first league win under coach Panayiotis Giannakis.

Panathinaikos recovered from its 27-point drubbing at Barcelona for the Euroleague to beat visiting PAOK 89-74 at home on Sunday, thanks to a partial 29-11 in the third quarter. PAOK has four defeats in as many games in all competitions to date this season.
