Spanish NATO ambassador to Haradinaj: Don't call yourself PM

Spain's ambassador to NATO recently visited the KFOR base in Pristina, and asked Kosovo officials not to refer to themselves by their titles.

According to Pristina-based Albanian language daily Express, Miguel Aguirre de Carcer was in Pristina last week, when he asked Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj not to refer to himself as prime minister, while also asking that members of the Kosovo Protection Force (KSF) not wear their uniforms.

According to the newspaper, this was happening "on the day Spain was faced with Catalonia's independence" - and the Spanish ambassador to NATO set these conditions for officials representing Kosovo institutions to be able to attend a meeting with NATO ambassadors.
