Dacic suggests sacking US Army Europe commander
Ivica Dacic said on Friday that the issue of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center (RSHC) in Nis comes down to a clash between big powers.
The first deputy PM and foreign minister added that Serbia "said it a hundred times" it did not want to take part in that.
Asked to comment on Thursday's statement by US Army Europe commander Ben Hodges, who said he "does not believe" the RSHC is in a fact a humanitarian center - Dacic said he should be sacked.
"If they are assessing that this is such an important center - that commander should be replaced," Dacic said.
Beta is also reporting today that the minister "reiterated there are five Serbs, four Russians, and one dog" at the Center - and that Serbia's decision (on granting it diplomatic status) would be made in line with Serbia's interests.
