Kukan: General impression positive

BELGRADE - Progress on rule of law and the process of normalisation of relations with Pristina remain substantial for the overall pace of Serbia's EU accession talks, says a declaration adopted by the European Parliament's EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) in Belgrade Thursday.

Speaking at a press conference, SAPC delegation head Eduard Kukan expressed satisfaction with the fact Serbia had been making progress on the EU path, but added there were areas where more energy needed to be invested and more results achieved.
