Dolman replaces Velculescu as head of IMF mission to Greece
After three years as the head of the International Monetary Fund's mission to Greece, Romanian Delia Velculescu is replaced by US official Peter Dolman.
Dolman is seen by his colleagues as a particularly experienced technocrat who is not among the "particularly hard" IMF officials, but rather moderate.
Until last year he was the head of the IMF mission in Belarus, and has also worked on the programs for Iceland, Russia and the Ukraine.
By mid-February the IMF will decide whether it will participate in the Greek program. There was no statement on the issue after Thursday's meeting between its managing director Christine Lagarde and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at Davos in Switzerland.
