Kusturica believes in future of film, Serbia

MOKRA GORA - Film director Emir Kusturica believes great authors and young artists such as those brought together by this year's Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival will save film, which he says is threatening to become an elite art form for the select few.

Speaking to Tanjug at Mecavnik, western Serbia, Kusturica said he also believed in the future of Serbia, which he said was pursuing a sensible foreign policy "inherited from Tito."
