US State Department spokesperson calls YPG ‘the PKK’

U.S. State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert on Jan. 25 referred to the Syr,an Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in Syria’s Afrin as “the PKK [outlawed Kurdistan Worker’s Party],”a which is recognized as a terrorist organization by the U.S., EU and much of the Western world.
