Ambassador Ramis: French Gastronomy - an unmissable opportunity for the world's chefs

The French gastronomy represents "an unmissable opportunity for the chefs from all over the world, including Romania, to make themselves known and to showcase their craftsmanship and arts," French ambassador to Romania Michele Ramis was quoted as saying in a press statement released by the French Embassy on Monday in preparation for the fourth edition of the "Gout de France / Good France" celebration.

Ramis highlighted the importance of this event, which gives chefs the opportunity to get noticed, while also offering them the support of a network of some of the best and best-known chefs in France and around the world.

Registration for the fourth edition of the "Gout de France/ Good France" is open throughout February 20 at restaurateurs.goodfrance.com.

"Gout de France /Good France" is an international event organised by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs that "invites the participating restaurants to introduce their guests to an authentic experience of the French art of living and also to bring a tribute to the French gastronomy and its ability to innovate," says Ramis.

"The values supporting the French gastronomy include the pleasure of sharing, sitting together with friends and family around the table, and also the pleasure of enjoying food."

According to Ramis, "Gout de France" is an unmissable event for all chefs ready "for a unique gourmet adventure".

The fourth edition of the "Gout de France" operation will bring together over 2,000 restaurants on five continents on March 21 to celebrate all those qualities that make French cuisine unique: excellence, great attention to product quality and details as well as the pleasure of sharing.
