City election commission accredits domestic observers

BELGRADE - The Belgrade City Election Commission has issued accreditations to local observers for the upcoming local elections in the capital, enabling them to monitor its work, the CRTA group announced on Thursday.

The accreditations have been given to CRTA, CeSID, Citizens on Guard and Yucom, it said in a statement, noting that the four organisations welcomed the move but warned that the commission had worked out of the public eye for a month, even though, by law, the work of the institution must be public.
