Dacic asks Gambia to reconsider decision to recognise Kosovo

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic on Friday asked Gambian counterpart Ousainou Darboe that his country reconsider its decision to recognise Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence.

"My plea and proposal to our Gambian friends is to once again reconsider the decision made in 2009 by the former government and the former president to recognise the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo as a growing number of countries are reconsidering their decisions," Dacic told reporters after meeting with Darboe.
