Bucharest, 12 May /Agerpres/ - The Romanian Film Centenary arrives in Campina on May 12, where, at 6 pm, they will screen the "Aferim!" fiction film directed by Radu Jude, at the Geo Bogza House of Culture.

According to a press release of the organizers, the documentary "Romania 100," dedicated to the Centenary of the Great Union of Romania and produced by the Video Department of the AGERPRES National News Agency, will be screened in the opening of the evening, with actor Toma Cuzin to be the special guest of this event.

"The story goes from the international historical context, continuing with the experiences of ordinary people who all wanted one thing: a country in which they speak the same language, wear the same costumes, share the same feeling, without borders. The shooting was done mostly on the Romanian territory, but also in Northern Bucovina and Bessarabia. The historical part, with precise data, is inserted in the documentary through the interventions of several historians who take on the role of narrators, while the people who, through their testimonies, evoke the moments experienced by their ancestors or even by them bringing out the emotions," says the same source.

The documentary "The Great Union - Romania 100" is made by Mihut Nastasache, Marilena Stanescu and Sergiu Olteanu. The image is signed by Alfred Schupler, Sergiu Olteanu and Andrei Carlan. Reporters were Marilena Stanescu, Mihu Nastasache and Camelia Moise. The graphics, sound and editing are signed by Andrei Cârlan, with technical assistant Alex Vintilescu.

Initiated by ARTIS and the MIA Association, organized by the City Hall of Iasi and the Athenaeum in Iasi, the Romanian Film Festival Centenary was launched this year, on February 3, in Iasi, the City that saw important moments from the Great Union of Romania.
