Serbian PM congratulates newly elected Italian counterpart

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic congratulated on Thursday the newly elected prime minister of Italy, Giuseppe Conte, and the new Italian government.

"On behalf of the government of the Republic of Serbia and on my personal behalf, I send you sincere congratulations and best wishes for success in performing your new duties," Brnabic said in her message, according to the Serbian government's website.

"I am convinced that, during your prime ministerial mandate, the traditional ties and fruitful and constructive cooperation between our two countries will be strengthened, to the mutual satisfaction and in the interest of our efforts to preserve the stability of the region," Brnabic said.
