Today is Announced Orange Weather Code for all of Bulgaria without Vidin

An orange rainfall code is announced today for the whole country except for Vidin where the code is yellow. Expected amounts are up to 50 liters per square meter, and in individual regions - more. In some places the heavy rainfall will be accompanied by thunderstorms, BNR reported.

The partial disaster, announced yesterday in three villages in Ivaylovgrad, remains in force. The night in the villages of Elena, Meden Buk and Chukollenci has gone smoothly. Precipitations that have fallen there are insignificant.

It was announced that because of the heavy rain that poured out over the past twenty-four hours and destroyed the road infrastructure in these villages. The only road to the village of Elena is still impassable. Municipality of Ivailovgrad triggered a flood plan that provides for the cleaning of the compromised sections and repair of the destroyed roads
