Prime Minister Dancila and Cabinet members at the Union Monument in Alba Iulia

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila and members of the Cabinet on Thursday arrived at the Union Monument in Alba Iulia.

"I am glad that the Romanian Government left its mark on this monument that will last for many years and which we inaugurate right now, one hundred years on from the Greater Union. This is a very good thing," said Dancila.

The Prime Minister and the entire Cabinet took a picture at the monument. Upon her arrival in Alba Iulia, Dancila was welcomed by Prefect of the county Danut Halalai, and head of the Alba branch of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) Deputy Ioan Dirzu.

When the PM arrived at the monument, the teams of workers continued to work to arrange the Union Park, where the monument is located.

From the Union Monument, the members of the Executive headed towards the Coronation Cathedral .
