Slain Bosnian's Parents Want Body Moved to Austria

The parents of the killed Bosnian youngster whose death has shaken the country want his remains exhumed from Banja Luka, in Bosnia's mainly Serbian entity, so they can bury them in Austria.

They say they wish to do this because they do not want their son buried "in a mafia state", Suzana Radanovic, Davids' mother, said on the Facebook page of the "Justice for David" campaigning group.

"Davor [David's father] and I do not want our child, David, to remain in a criminal, private, mafia state, in the country where he was killed, in the country where his murder is being covered up, in which they persecute people with opinions ... I hope that in the near future, our son's body will be transferred to Austria, where we will build a monument and his eternal house," Radanovic wrote.

Suzana Radanovic has been living in Vienna for years.

David's father, Davor, has been on the run since the end of last year when the Republika Srpska Interior Ministry issued an arrest warrant, after street protests on December 30 turned violent, as protesters clashed with the police.

Several people were arrested that night including an RS opposition MP, Drasko Stanivukovic.

Davor Dragicevic has led protests demanding that the killers of his son be discovered since April 2018. His son was found dead on March 24 that year.

"You killed my child! You are preparing jail and liquidation for me. Peace and dignity do not have any purpose or meaning in my life," he wrote on Wednesday on the Facebook page of the "Justice for David" group.

"I am going to the end. From these institutions, my child and I will never get justice, but I will get it, for my son; for you, my soul, I am going to the end," Dragicevic wrote.
