Gallup: Bulgarians Prefer Their Workplace to be Near Their Home
72% would think first about kindergartens and schools when they think about where to work, according to a social survey made by Gallup International, quoted by bTV.
80% of Bulgarians believe that in big cities the movement is becoming more and more difficult. 72% are of the opinion that if they have to change jobs, it is essential that they are close to schools and kindergartens. 64% of Bulgarians also think that it is important their place of work to be near their place of residence. 71% say there are not enough parking spaces. This is the data from a survey by Gallup International shows.
Urban environment
Survey data also indicate that 44% agree with the opinion that the sidewalks in their settlement are rather good, and 52% are of the opposite opinion. In Sofia, however, the picture is more critical and nearly two-thirds are dissatisfied, while nearly a third are satisfied.
Similar is the picture and when asked about the repairs of squares, streets and other urban spaces - 47% approve of them, and 50% do not.
Snow clearing
For now, Bulgarians find the work of the snow cleansing authorities in the settlements rather effective - 58% are positive and 31% negative.
The problem with the dirty air
Absolutely opposite, however, is the picture of opinions when it comes to atmospheric air. 92% of Sofia citizens believe there is a problem with the air, and 53% of Bulgarians think that there is a problem with the air pollution in the whole country.
